The Struggle is Over

Text: Gen 2:17 ♧ Man's problem has its root in unbelief which produced death. Fundamentally the problem of man is death. God did not create death. Man's unbelief created death. ♧ The plan of God from creation was for man to live forever in his kingdom- Titus 1:2, John 6:40, 1 John 2:25 Eternal life is God's immutable counsel- Heb 6:17. ♧ Eternal life has been the desire of men all over the ages - Psalm 16:8-11, 49:7-9, 71:9, Matt 19:16, Luke 10:25, 18:18, John 3:1-3 ♧ God alone has capacity to give life- Rom 4:17, 1 Tim 6:13, John 5:21, Acts 17:25 ♧ Satan does not create no give life. What he wields is the power of death- Heb 2:14. Scripture identifies Satan as a murderer - John 8:44, 10:10. People blame God for certain predicaments. God is not responsible for man's woes. God does not kill or afflict- Deut 32:39, 1 Sam 2:6. The account of a servant. Heb 3:5-6. John 1:18. 1 John 4:8. ♧ Jesus came to restore life to mankind. John 10:10, 1 John 3:8, Titus 3:5-7. ♧ The gospel is a revelation of God's plan for mankind which is eternal life or immortality- 2 Tim 1:10, 1 Cor 2:6-9, Rom 2:7, 6:22 ♧ God's answer to Man is eternal life- 1 Cor 15:19, Matt 16:26, Heb 13:14, 1 John 2:25. In God's plan for man there will be no sorrow- Rev 21:3-4. ♧ Our hope is in the world to come and our qualification is Faith in the Christ - 1 John 5:11, Rom 10:9, Acts 2:21. ♧ Believers don't pray to make it - Heb 12:18, 22-23, Rev 14:1, Eph 2:18-19, Phil 3:20. Eph 1:14, 2 Cor 1:22- the Spirit is a guarantee that God will fulfill all he has promised.
